I saw this video before I was even into Homestuck. I had seen some fanart, some videos, and I though “cool, whatever”. But then I saw this one and thought it was so cute I had to go read Homestuck. And so I did, and I actually started fitting into this amazing community of people, cosplayers, contributors, just genuinely good and amazing people.

I was finally able to break away from the anti-social life I had full of shitty half hearted friends and be in a community that actually mattered to me. This video literally was the catalyst that made me break out of my shell and it changed my life.
